Our customer is a French industrial company specialized in cosmetics, spread over 3 sites. (Valréas, Carpentras, Argenteuil - 300 employees - sales 35-40M€).

 

A major player in cosmetics subcontracting, the company is renowned for manufacturing top-of-the-range products that are renowned the world over: creams, skin lotions, sun creams, hair care products... Their speciality lies particularly in the manufacture and technological innovation of tailor-made products that can be adapted to very specific needs.

 

There are 3 major projects to be carried out: firstly, a major overhaul of the sales organization to adopt a more aggressive approach in the search for new customers; secondly, optimization of overheads; and lastly, a significant improvement in manufacturing performance.

 

Position:

 

The company's ambitions depend on the development of a strong financial culture. This is why we have decided to recruit a Financial Director.

The CFO is a member of the Executive Committee, reporting directly to the company's General Manager and, in matrix form, to the Group CFO, and is responsible for managing a team of 11 people. He/she oversees management control, accounting, purchasing and IT.

 

He/she leads the development and implementation of visibility and decision-making tools.

 

He/she works closely with the sales and industry teams to promote a financial culture within the company.

 

He/she plays the role of a true Business Partner within the company.

 

 

More specifically, its missions are as follows:

 

 

  • He/she acts as a true sales co-pilot, initiating the implementation of performance measurement tools and ensuring their adoption by operational staff,

 

 

  • He/she works closely with the production and R&D teams to help improve industrial performance,

 

  • He/she initiates and manages all relevant projects to reduce the company's overall cost structure,

 

 

  • He/she defines the major strategic actions to be launched in order to guarantee the company's solvency and healthy growth,

 

 

  • He/she manages reporting to the Group CFO and proposes solutions to improve performance.

Ideally, you have the following profile:

 

You have a degree (Bac +5) in Finance/Management

 

You have at least 10 years' professional experience, including a significant period as CFO of an industrial group. Experience in a restructuring context would be an asset.

 

You are a strong leader.

You are close to the field and work cross-functionally. You have a high level of vision.
